What is this thing?
Fun-a-Day is a game plan for a month of productivity and rad-making in daily doses. Pick a project you can participate in daily during the month of January. In February everyone can show off his or her awesome 31 pieces at the Fun-a-Day art show. Fun-a-Day shows follow a few stipulations made by the founders at the Art Clash Collective in Philadelphia:
All Fun-a-Day Shows are
A. Free to participate in and to attend
B. All ages (which doesn’t mean the work need be G-rated, but there are no age restrictions for who can participate or attend.)
C. Unjuried: everyone who submits a project gets in.
D. Non-commercial (no one makes money, no sponsorships, no corporate logos, etc. We allow artists to sell their work, but that's all negotiated between the artists and the patrons). We will have a donation jar to recoup show costs, but any surplus money is donated to community groups.
